Summary:
Broad Function
The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic communication initiatives that enhance brand awareness, engage target audiences, and support business objectives. This role oversees content creation, media relations, digital marketing, and internal communications, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
Essential Functions
- Promote, demonstrate, and instill Brock's Bsafe and Bbest culture in all aspects of the business
- Develop and implement integrated marketing communication plans aligned with company goals
- Manage brand messaging and ensure consistency across all platforms (web, social media, print, events)
- Oversee content creation including press releases, blog posts, newsletters, and promotional materials
- Coordinate public relations efforts, including media outreach and crisis communication
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product launches, campaigns, and events
- Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies to optimize results
- Manage external agencies and vendors for creative, PR, and digital services
- Lead internal communications initiatives to foster employee engagement and alignment
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategy
- Oversee social media accounts, websites and other online channels to engage with customers and build brand awareness
- Work with advertising agencies and other media outlets to secure favorable rates and placements
- Develop compelling communication content, including advertising materials, press releases, and blog posts
Working Conditions
- Working conditions include outdoor and indoor fields, yard and shop locations
- Working indoors in an office environment
- Utilization of Personal Protective Equipment is necessary
- Travel as required
Skills & Abilities
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, PPC, social media, and display advertising
- Excellent analytical skills and experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Intermediate graphic design skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
- Proficient in marketing automation tools
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field
- 5+ years of experience in marketing communications for related roles
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., CMS, email marketing, social media)
- Experience creating effective marketing communications using written, graphic, and audio/visual media
