Job Description

This position will be responsible for fulfilling guest orders. The beverage attendant/market barista will prepare beverages in accordance with menu standards and provide a welcoming and clean environment for guests.  A Hyatt our colleagues engage in casual conversation and create a welcoming experience by their style and service attributes.  Other duties include general restaurant preparation and maintaining a sanitary environment.

Property Details: Hyatt Regency Baytown | A catalyst for Baytown's waterfront district development, and located at the base of the iconic Fred Hartman Bridge, along the Houston Ship Channel, the Hyatt Regency Baytown- Houston will undoubtedly provide the ultimate gateway entrance to the city of Baytown, a coastal city known for its rich Texas history. Baytown is just minutes from downtown Houston and Galveston and close to the Kemah Boardwalk and NASA Space Center.

From the moment you enter the Hyatt Regency Houston- Baytown hotel, you will sense a wonderful mix of modern meets warm southern Texas hospitality and bay breezes. The hotel features 208 guest rooms, a market, a 3-meal restaurant with exposition kitchen, and a lobby bar with great views of the Houston ship channel. Qualifications

Qualifications - External

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• 1-year of customer service experience preferred
• Previous Barista experience preffered
• Must have flexible work availability to include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
